Anyone

Cub Scout Pack 665 – The First Meeting of the Year
October
12th in the Gym from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
Please join us and help kick off this 75th anniversary year of cub
scouting with some fun following this month’s theme, “It’s a Circus of Stars”. If you would like to join or learn more about
Cub Scouting at Bennett, we’ll be glad to introduce you to the group and answer
any questions.

Must attend a $49 two-hour computer training class
This
is not a joke, no gimmicks or strings attached!! The WTA is a non-profit
organization committed to education through technology access. The WTA offers a two-hour training class in
basic computer use for $49. By attending
one of these classes, you will take home a FREE Pentium II or better computer
system with software.

Bellevue Schools Foundation Phonathon is coming!
Do for every child what we would do for our own
Bellevue
Schools Foundation Phonathon is coming on October 25 -27.You can make a
difference for the children in our schools!Please make a generous donation when
volunteers from our school call.
This
year, BSF is raising $1.75 million for world-class, district-wide academic
programs and support services for teachers and students in Bellevue’s
schools.BSF relies on financial support from parents like you to provide these
valuable programs for our students.Your dollars also support classroom grants,
teacher training, book purchases, middle school science, VIBES mentoring, and
childcare scholarships.Funds raised during Phonathon benefit all students in
all Bellevue schools.

PTSA is proudly sponsoring the annual fundraising dinner and auction on November
5th. Many fabulous items have been
procured by the auction committee including spa treatments, Wild Waves passes,
Husky football tickets, ocean field trip passes, piano lessons and much
more! Now it is your turn to work on
your Family Donations! Remember, you do
not need to buy anything, simply take the donation letter and procurement form
to local businesses and see what you can get.
Get your whole family involved and make it something really
special!
Invitations
will be going home shortly so look for them in your child's backpack. We have been working with Samena Swim &
Recreation Club to host a Kid's Night Out for November 5th. This is the perfect childcare arrangement for
both parents and kids!

BENNETT WALKATHON 2004
Our
boots were made for walking on October 1st!
Sunshine, friends and family, and lots of walkers helped make this year’s
walkathon a huge success. The exciting
news is that we have over $29,000 in pledges for our awesome school!!!
Please
remember to turn in your pledge money as soon as possible. The first class with all of their money
collected will win a pizza party! Also,
anyone who raises $100 will receive a $5 Blockbuster gift certificate and those
raising $150 will receive a $10 gift certificate. Prize winners will be announced on October
15th.

to the many volunteer who donated their time to the walkathon. A special thanks to the walkathon

Coat Drive October 18-22
Bennett's
annual kids' coat drive will take place the week of October 18-22. The coatsbe
new or used and in good condition, sizes children’s 5 to adult small, and may
be dropped off in boxes by the office.They will be donated to Warm Coats for
Kids which distributes them to kids in Bellevue schools who need coats.We will
be collecting gloves and hats, too.Thank you!
