The PTSA is offering science project
display boards for sale at discount prices. These three-sided boards measure 36
inches high. They are made of die-cut corrugated cardboard (Econoboard)

Young
Scientist Workshop Wednesday!
There will be a Science
Workshop held during lunch recess next Wednesday, February 16, in the Bennett
LRC. Parent and teacher volunteers will
help students get started on their projects for Young Scientist Week. The lunch recess times are:
We need parent
volunteers to help with the workshops. You do not need to be a scientist or
have any special expertise! Worksheets are available to help the students pick
topics, etc. If you can help, please call Susan at 747-6769.

SpringBoard is a high level,
comprehensive language arts program currently being implemented in all
National
Board Certification for Teachers
The
best investment the District can make is to support teachers through the
rigorous National Board Certification process.
National Board Certified teachers deliver an excellent education for our
students by demonstrating the highest standards for professional performance. BSF is providing significant support for this
effort by helping fund teachers' certification fees, teacher candidate
mentoring, and providing a videographer to tape
candidates' portfolios.

for the yearbook you can now upload them directly to the Life Touch yearbook
website.
