Text Box: Fall is really here! I can’t believe our kids have to dig out their coats and umbrellas when we had 80 degree weather only a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to everyone who donated outerwear to the coat drive. We collected over 80 coats to give to kids and teenagers in our area! Please remember to send your kids in clothes and outerwear that is appropriate for the climate. I guess they could always learn it the hard way…then the lesson may actually stick. The 2006 Walkathon has come to a close. Thanks to all of the students for walking so far and for collecting your pledges. With corporate matching, the Walkathon raised over $29,000. If you have corporate contribution matching available, it is not too late! Please submit a matching form to your company! Every donation makes a difference in the quality of programs

Text Box: and activities the PTSA can offer the students of Bennett. The students are eagerly looking forward to Halloween! At Bennett, the fun part is the costume parade. Even teachers and parents join the fun and dress up. Please make sure your student does not have a scary costume with any kind of weapon. Each classroom will have a couple of activities planned with the parade ending the festivities. The teachers and room parents will be sending out more information as October 31st draws closer. Please make a donation to your classroom party fund if you haven’t already. This small fund takes care of most of the Halloween, Valentines, Year End and Teacher’s Birthday parties.
