It’s clean out the closet time! Lost and Found items will be sent to a charity if they are not claimed by March 9th! There are a number of winter jackets and other clothing items still unclaimed. Parents, please stop by and see if your child has not recognized one (or more) of their articles of clothing.

Young Scientist Week 2007

 

 

õ Student science projects due Monday, March 5 – bring them first thing in the morning! Tables will be set up in the Bennett halls and library.

 

õ Pacific Science Center in-class activities – check with your classroom teacher for the schedule of events. Parents are encouraged to volunteer in their child’s classroom for these hands-on activities.  Please come 10 to 15 minutes early if you can to help move and set up.

 

õ Egg Drop Contest  - Wednesday, March 7 (11:30 AM- 12:30 PM)  Come cheer for your favorite egg!

 

õ Family Science Night - Wednesday, March 7 (5:30 PM – 8:00 PM) See the article on page 2 for more information!

 

õ Volunteers needed! The PTSA Science Team needs volunteers for Family Science Night! Please contact Susan Steckler at susan@schooloffish.net (tel.: 747-6769).

Please volunteer to help next Wednesday, March 7th. Shifts are available throughout the day and evening.

 

ù Our eggsciting egg drop starts at 11:15 am on Wednesday, and we need help distributing eggs before the event and help with supervision and prizes during the event.

 

ù Then in the afternoon we need volunteers to set up for Family Science Night and also to staff the science activities in the evening.

 

ù Volunteer for just one shift, or the whole day!
